The Western Reserve Chapter of the Independent Electrical Contractors will be accepting applications and conducting aptitude testing for their electrical apprenticeship program.
Apprenticeship is a combination of classroom-related training and on the job training.

In order to be accepted into the apprenticeship program by the start of Fall 2017-2018 year, an applicant must: be a minimum of 18 years old, have a high school diploma or a GED equivalent and be physically able to perform the work of the trade. Applicants are responsible for bringing a valid ID and a non-refundable application fee of $25. You will need a basic calculator.
The Western Reserve Chapter sponsors an electrical apprenticeship program that is recognized and certified by the US Department of Labor and the State of Ohio. The Department of Labor certification is recognized throughout the United States, and the apprenticeship program is considered top of the line in the electrical industry. The purpose of Western Reserve Apprenticeship Program is to train professional, qualified, knowledgeable electricians in the electrical trade for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
